Patch for IE Vulnerability Available Soon

Microsoft is reported to have a patch ready for the serious flaw in Internet Explorer I discussed here. The vulnerability is reportedly being exploited and allowing cyber criminals to install malicious software on people’s PCs without their knowledge.

Serious Internet Explorer Flaw

F-Secure has a great post on the Microsoft Internet Explorer vulnerability here. My advice is to stop using Internet Explorer until Microsoft releases a patch and use a different browser instead. 2008 Security Wrap Up Video

F-Secure, a computer security company from Finland, has released a summary of computer security issues for the year. The company puts out a lot of good videos and I’d encourage anyone interested in the topic to check them out. It’s Microsoft Patch Time Again

Looks like it’s a big patch bundle this month from Microsoft. According to Brian Krebs at Security Fix
